Hey, I’m Ashutosh Singh. Born and brought up in Ambedkar Nagar (Purvanchal), I have been living in Noida for the last few years. Back in college, I was doing freelancing – SEO, guest posts, running Google Ads for individuals, and making decent pocket money. Life was chill.
But one day I just got bored with doing the same thing for clients and thought – Why not start something of my own in digital news?
So a few months ago I launched UttarPradeshNewz.com Right now it’s super tiny – some days 20 visitors, some days 60. That’s it. No office, no salary, no big team. Just me + 3–4 college students who send stories from their districts on WhatsApp.
I kinda belong to both sides of UP now:
- Purvanchal boy at heart (Awadhi-Bhojpuri vibes fully loaded)
- Been in Noida long enough to understand the western UP hustle too
That’s why I want this site to cover the entire state properly – from Ballia to Barabanki, small towns to big cities, in Hindi and English, without any drama or fake headlines.

I’m still learning, still messing up sometimes, still checking Google Analytics ten times a day like a kid waiting for his report card But when someone from a village messages “Bhai, you put our area’s news, thank you”, that feeling >> any paycheck.
